CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urged the folks to spread the message of social harmony through the festivals being marked by different communities in the country.
Addressing an event organized by CPN (UML) liaison coordination committee in the Capital City on Saturday, the UML Chairman said, "Being a geographically diverse country, we should spread the message of social harmony in the country through festivals."
He also asked the party cadres to write informative posts on their social sites so that other people could imitate and get benefits from such messages.
Oli was of the view that meaningful posts should be written on the social site platforms and such posts should support the good ideas and criticize wrong ones.
Saying that our festivals are linked to social norms and values, the former PM said that celebration of festivals has changed with the change in the country's economic status.
